I just read my blog and realized a few posts back I said my little trichster was pull free five months, and it has really been about 4 months. Sorry about that
But the accomplishment is that we realized he was pulling in October, and he went on the homeopathy in January. That is 3 months of pulling. We are now in "recovery mode" pull free for more months than he was actually pulling to begin with!!! (by our best estimation of when he started) GO MY LITTLE TRICHSTER!!! YAY!!

Way to go. I'm so happy for you! Ever feel like you're holding your breath, waiting for the relapse? I struggle with that, although I know better....My daughter has 4 months, too.

so happy for both of you! We are using tanya too! No luck so far but I am hopeful. And I am praying.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is pulling eyelashes and eyebrows.I am trying so hard to be supportive to her but it is so hard our family to watch this happening.And not be able to find the right help for her!
Leah: yes every day I find myself wondering about relapse. and if he so much as brings his fingers up to his hair I have to actually restrain myself from saying anything to him. I just watch him. He still "pets" his hair where he runs a few strands between his thumb and forefinger, but he does NOT pull at all. He will also rub his eyes sometimes, if he is in a tense situation, but does not pull either.

I am pretty well versed in homeopathy and I think it helped Tanya find my trichster's constitutional faster (I knew the subtle nuances she was looking to hear about) try to be as specific as possible with her about your child (does she like cooler temperatures or warmer? how is she with textures? when she gets sick, what system is usually most effected, etc) don't just focus on trich related stuff. She needs to know about your whole child.
